Dewey's
views
advance
the
ideas of

"progressive
education
movement,"
an
outgrowth
of the
progressive
political

seeks to

schools
more

agents

democracy.
Just a
scant

the
Progressive
Education
Association
is
founded
with the
goal of
reforming
American
education.

allowed

president

self-proclaimed

to

of

House.

allowed
the

president
to
appoint
a
"Safe
School
Czar"
who
advances
K-12
reading
list
recommending
books
containing
explicit
sexual
content.

When
in
our
history
has
a
sitting
president
appointed
and
a
Congress
confirmed
a
cabinet
member
who
seems
more
concerned
about
our
veterans
becoming
militia
extremists
than
the
threat
of
imported
or
home
grown
Al-Qaeda
terrorists.
