From our pal Colleen Fay:
Good evening folks,
We could definitely use some donations. In
addition to ... Elk Grove Park on Saturday, for those of you
leaving town early, we will have a collection box at the Best
Buy parking lot at Arden Fair Mall Thursday evening beginning at
5:30 pm. Rodney, of Yellow Ribbon America, will be living in a
shed in the parking lot, Thursday thru Monday to collect
donations for wounded soldiers and their families. Come on out
to both events.
Some of you are members of large groups,
fraternal orgs or motorcycle clubs, etc. Please invite your
groups to participate. To everyone...Please forward. Remember
our heroes and veterans this Memorial Day and every day.
Thanks so much, Colleen
UPDATE - ELK GROVE:Inez
reports the event in Elk Grove was very productive raising
$648.00 and collecting a dozen bags of needed supplies. A
number of the contributors also expressed an interest in
volunteering for future projects.
